This is a great base coat I always use before applying polish to my toe nails. I feel that it is nourishing with the horsetail, and it helps my color polish go on nice and smooth. I do exactly what Pure suggests...this base coat followed by 2 coats of color and then their glass top coat. My toe nail polish will last a good 3+ weeks before starting to chip! I love it! And of course the best part are the clean and safe ingredients!

I don't normally use nail polish, I bought this to strengthen my brittle nails. It serves the purpose well, but I was not prepared for the strong smell it has. I had to hold my breath to put this on and keep my hands away from my nose for half an hour after I finish. I will not purchase again.
