I always use a cuticle and nail oil before applying any polish. I love that this one is non toxic and I know what I'm getting with it, which isn't always the case with nail products, some of which can be loaded with toxic chemicals. I garden and cook a lot, so my hands get pretty dry at times. Once I found the 100% Pure hand creams, I've been using them often. I didn't think I really needed an additional product like this Nail % Cuticle Oil. I was wrong. The hand creams leave my nails and skin around the nails looking not dry, but this oil makes them look so healthy. I even had some slight discoloration of a few nails that went away with a coat of this oil. Like with other 100% Pure products, I keep an extra one in a fridge so that I won't run out the product even if the item is out of stock.
